Editorial policy
United Spotlight aims to make cultural connections clear without making them tidier than they are. Our editorial work values careful wording, useful context and a visible distinction between fact, interpretation and uncertainty.
Accuracy and context
We check names, terms, dates and descriptions against suitable information before publication, and we take care not to present a broad cultural label as if it described every person in a place. When accounts differ or a detail cannot be settled, we say so rather than implying certainty.
Independence
Editorial choices are made for their relevance to readers, not because a subject or product has been offered to us. A partnership does not buy favourable coverage or editorial control, and editorial work is kept distinct from paid material.
Corrections
If you spot a possible error, contact us through the Contact page and identify the article and detail. We review correction requests, make appropriate changes, and explain significant corrections clearly within the relevant article.
Paid and partner material
Paid placements and material produced with a partner are clearly labelled where readers encounter them. Labels explain the relationship plainly; partner material is not presented as independent editorial coverage.
